Create As Many PVA Accounts As You Want! Craigslist Secret Reveal.

I am about to reveal to you my secrets to success through the use of Craigslist PVA’s. As you already know we are going to utilize a blackhat method to obtain PVA accounts with no upfront cost. So lets get started…

Setting up the Proxy

  • First off we are going to need to set up our proxies to enable us to change our IP address with ease. The reason for this is that Craigslist will catch on if you create too many accounts with the same IP, which will lead to headaches unless you make the accounts correctly in the first place.

You can download FoxyProxy here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2464

  • Now this program is an addon to the Mozilla Firefox internet browser. So if you use a different browser, I suggest you download Firefox for PVA creation. It is much easier. I believe there is a program similar to FoxyProxy that works with Internet Explorer.
  • We are now going to load the FoxyProxy addon with several IP addresses. Here is a good tutorial on how to set up the proxies.

http://davidtse916.wordpress.com/2007/07/26/switch-proxy-settings-on-firefox-using-foxyproxy/

  • Now you need to decide how dedicated you are going to be with this. There are plenty of free proxy lists out there to use. But I have found that for every good proxy, there is a bad one. Here are some good lists of proxies I have been using.

http://www.aliveproxy.com/us-proxy-list/
http://www.proxz.com/

*Take my word and do not use the IP’s with ports of 3127 or 3128. These tend to be connected to a Princeton proxy server that does not allow the creation of Craigslist accounts using it.

You are going to load these IP addresses and Port numbers into the FoxyProxy addon as shown in the tutorial. Options/Add New Proxy/Proxy Details is where this is done.

If you plan on getting serious with this I suggest you invest in some Proxies that you have to pay monthly for. They work better and you will not have to deal with slow connections or bad proxies. This is an affordable websites for that…

  • Gmail Account Creation
We are now ready to mass create gmail accounts. Go to the Gmail homepage and click Sign Up for Gmail. Fill out the information with different names. Keep records of these accounts using a program like Notepad or Word, you will need them later.

Then go to Craigslist and create an account there with the email address you just made. Go back to your email account and confirm your signup with Craigslist.

Now simply switch your IP address with the FoxyProxy addon we set up earlier and repeat this process as needed. After you have the Gmail accounts set up we are ready to put on our blackhats and phone verify them.

  • Phone Verification of Gmail Accounts
We are now going to use a blackhat technique to get the verification codes that match up with the corresponding phone numbers. You are going to need 1 PVA account initially to use this technique.

Log into your PVA and go to the Women Seeking Men Category in a high traffic city like NY or Boston. I usually post in the NSA section. Our objective now is to post an Ad as a lonely women looking to talk on the phone. You can get creative here to maximize the responces you get but here is one that I use:

Subject: The Mets are getting pounded

Johan looked good tonight though, even with the 3 earned runs. I am so happy the weather is getting nicer and baseball is here.
I guess you can say I'm a sports girl, been a Met fan all my life. I am looking for an older man I can really connect with. Anyone up for talking on the phone?

The key when making this type of post is to sound legitimate and believeable to the men who are going to respond.

Your inbox sure enough will fill up with emails. Some will leave you their phone number, others will not.

In another tab open up one of the Craigslist accounts we set up earlier.

I am now going to teach you how to obtain the authentication codes with ease…

The idea is to have these people be expecting a call from you. This will get you the most PVA’s. As a general rule (and this is important) we are going to always use the most recent phone number sent to us in the emails.

Ie. If you have a phone number from 12:34am, another from 11:21pm and the time now is 12:36am, we are going to use the number from the 12:34am email in this next step.

Go back to Craigslist and attempt to post in the adult section. You will then be prompted to authenticate your account by phone. Proceed and type in the phone number from your latest email. Select the Text option to have the verification code sent to our mark via text (almost everyone texts these days and this method seems to work a lot better than voice verification). After the code is sent go back to Gmail and reply to that particular person’s email:

Hey Jim/Bob/Bill. I just need you to do me a quick favor first. I need to phone verify my craigslist account to show I am human lol. But my stupid brother did it already with my phone once before. Can you send me the code that you just got via text? I really appreciate this, I owe you big. Im gonna call you right after to thank you! and talk of course.

You will be astonished by the amount of codes that are emailed back to you. You can easily verify 20-40 accounts an hour like this.

For all of the emails you got with no phone number you reply:

Hey its Brittney/Cassandra/Michelle. Lets talk today.....what's your number?

You will also begin to accumilate emails with phone numbers that are not recent. Therefore they probably are not expecting your call. For all of those simply reply:

Call now?

If you do all this you will have plenty of recent emails with telephone numbers. These people are the most likely to send you the code back so keep repeating this process.

Each code is associated with that particular phone number and could be used to verify any account you created. So if you get more than one code send to you using the same Craigslist account, no worries, just apply the code to a different one.

*Important* Craigslist is constantly coming up with ways to make our lives as online marketers harder. Their latest tactic has been revoking the authentication from accounts that have already been phone verified. To counter this you are going to need to make 1 post with all of your accounts that you created. This will ensure that they will still be there in the morning ; ).

You are now prepared to make PVA’s on your own! The money making potential with this method is endless. Thank you for your time and business. -fannystice

What Is Craigslist?

Craigslist is the brainchild of Craig Newmark, and has become one of the most popular sites on the Internet. Started in San Francisco in 1995, it is perhaps the ultimate site for classified listings. It offers job advertisements, personal ads, ads for cars, pets, home supplies and a plethora of other choices. The website is built around communities, and craigslist now offers sites in hundreds of cities and many countries throughout the world. Financial information about the nonprofit company is not disclosed, but business experts believe the site is worth over $10 million US dollars (USD).
For the most part, posting and reading ads on craigslist is free. Revenue is generated by people posting job ads at significantly below market rate. To post an ad in the "gigs" section of the want ads is free. Craigslist does not post banners ads, preferring to earn money only through job posting revenue.
The lowered rate for posting want ads has made the site a proverbial thorn in the side of more traditional companies offering classified ads. Newspapers, in particular, have attacked craigslist on numerous occasions for posting advertisements that might be construed as endorsement of illegal activities. Sections that sell puppies, for example, were part of a lawsuit suggesting craigslist illegally endorses puppy mills or the sale of outlawed breeds. The San Francisco Chronicle sued the site for this reason, but the suit was dismissed.
It is true that craigslist does seriously undercut competitive newspapers through its classified ads. This is especially the case for ads other than jobs. A person wanting to sell a sofa, a car, or rent property, saves a lot of money by listing on it on the site instead of in a newspaper. In fact, they pay no money for doing so, whereas they would pay quite a bit to a large city newspaper.
Those who use craigslist, which reports over 30 billion page views per month, have learned to be cautious about advertisements posted there. While most job ads are legitimate, personal ads, housing rentals, and for sales ads can be phonies, meant to gather people’s personal information or lure them into danger. Jobs in the gigs section are often “work for free” opportunities, or scams advertising great jobs if one will take a course or pay a fee for job listings. It’s reasonable to use craigslist with a great deal of caution, and certain areas of the sites are reserved for adults only. People using restricted areas must register first, and inappropriate postings can be flagged by other viewers.
Lack of moderation on postings are perhaps the primary reason why this Internet giant is criticized. There are currently only about 30 craigslist employees, and moderating the more than 50 million ads posted each month would be a very significant undertaking. This would not even include moderating all the postings generated by users. Many users take it upon themselves to flag postings, or to write comments on other posts that seem to abuse the free exchange offered by the site.
Some caution should be observed when using craigslist because no moderation exists on the site. You should be wary about giving out personal information like telephone numbers or addresses. If you answer a personal ad and arrange a meeting, do so in a public place. If you plan to respond to a “for sale” ad, go with several people to pick up or view the items for sale. If a job ad asks for a resume, do not include personal information until you verify the company’s existence. Avoid “too good to be true” ads, because they usually are.

With caution, craigslist can be an excellent site for searching jobs or for finding just about anything. It has numerous forums for people seeking information about new cities they may be visiting or moving to. Some users devote time to “watchdog” blogs so that other users can check out the claims of ads prior to responding to them.

Simple Craigslist Ad Flagged Proof Technique

There is no single answer but the same thing happens to me. After taking a closer look at this for a while I have come to this conclusion. CL is really cracking down on similar content now, not just duplicate content. If I place 2 similar ads in the same region many but not all ads get deleted. The more similar ads I place in the same region the more get deleted. I suspect that they are removing a certain ad count for each violation. Let say you violate the similar content in the same region once they remove 10 ads, violate it 3 times they remove 30 ads. I have been posting on CL since it went national and always found a way around their CL police but things are getting real bad now. There is a brand new product that I am sharing because it works and it works very well. You can post hundreds of ads within minutes daily. Getting your ads flagged sucks! If you didn’t know that lots of times it is other marketers actually flagging your ads! Check this out."CL Traffic Bananas"

Beware, The Nasty Secret Of The Craigslist Free Section.

If you love Craigslist, and use the free section to either post products or get great deals, you really need to read this. Because there’s a dirty secret to Craigslist that most people don’t know about it, and the free section gets hit with it most.
As with all services or products used en masse, adaptations arise to evolve the idea. With eBay, it was bid sniping (which is legitimate in my book). With free software trials, product key generators hit the market, turning free trial software into the full-blown product. And now, with Craigslist, there’s something called Auto Flagging Software, and it gives the people who use it a very sly advantage.
Now, it turns out that Auto Flagging Software originally had a good use. The idea was to use it to blast SPAM and ads for sexual services, clearing out the trash from Craigslist and keeping customers safe from bad deals and illicit offers.
But other people saw a use for this software, and it is being used by two distinct sets of Craigslist users.
First, anyone who has competitors on Craigslist (this can be people offering similar services or selling similar products) are using Auto Flagging Software programs to flag the competition, thus giving themselves more of a chance of getting business.
Second are the users who want a particular product and don’t want anyone else to have it. This most often manifests in the free section, where great deals are be had and kind people will often just give away something with inherent value to a needy person.
When the sly Craigslister with Auto Flagging Software spies a real bargain, they pounce. The software does two jobs; it will send an email to the Craigslist poster requesting the item; then, it sends flagging signals to Craigslist about that post using multiple IP addresses. This will automatically trigger the ad to be pulled from the site. And voila, the underhanded Craigslister has eliminated anyone else from responding by pulling the ad, giving him or her the best chance of getting your deal. These pieces of software are most often used by people looking to make a profit be reselling cheap or free items.
I did a little digging round and found several instances of the software (I won’t be posting any links here, for obvious reasons). I also found people requesting custom-built versions of the software for their own nefarious purposes.
So if you do frequent Craigslist, especially as someone who regularly gives products away  in the free section, please monitor your post and don’t just give the product away to the first person who responds. It could be that Auto Flagging Software was involved and someone who genuinely needed the product was shut out be someone else just looking to make a quick profit from your generosity.

How To Restore Your Craigslist Account From Being Blocked

First, it’s important to understand some terms and basic principles of Craigslist so that you are able to identify causes of the challenges you may face.

Craigslist is a community driven, free/inexpensive local classified ad website with approximately 30 employees. It is also in the top 10 most visited websites in the world. With this amount of traffic, it becomes a huge profit potential for local small businesses. It also becomes an attractive venue for wrongdoers or “spammers.” In order for Craigslist to maintain its appeal to consumers and advertisers, it has to have systems in place to prevent spammers from abusing their service.

A spammer is classified as a person who consistently posts numerous advertisements in rapid succession in multiple categories and/or geographies. The intent behind this is to give the spammer as much advertising exposure as possible with disregard towards those who may be viewing the website.

Even as a legitimate business with good intentions, it is possible that you may simulate similar behavior to these spammers by the actions you take when posting advertisements on Craigslist. The terms of use on Craigslist offer some insight into how to make the best use of their website.

Craigslist is a community driven website; meaning that the people who visit the site are moderators. In other words, if they come across advertisements that they feel are not appropriate, miscategorized, or posted too often, they can vote to have your ad removed. If enough people feel the same and vote to have your ad removed, Craigslist’s automated systems will remove your ad from public viewing. This process is known as “flagging.” If this happens often enough, Craigslist deems your activity as devaluing the experience of its users and may prevent you from placing any future advertisements.

The second measure Craigslist has in place to prevent spammers from abusing their website is automated detection software. It monitors the activity of users of the website, specifically advertisers. For instance, when you visit Craigslist, the internet connection you use, or your ip address, is logged. Also, your email address you log in with, your Craigslist account, and the ads you post are all stored in a system that details your user profile.

This information is compiled to identify you and monitor your behavior on the website. If any of the activity you do on the website is a violation of its terms of use or reflects patterns of a spammer, Craigslist may block your ads from showing up. Your account may show that your ads are active, but they will not be showing publicly on the website. This is a practice commonly referred to as “ghosting.”

When ghosting occurs, the worse thing to do is to keep trying to post more ads. They will likely get caught in Craigslist spam filters and continue to be blocked, eventually leading to the disabling of your Craigslist account and ability to post to Craigslist altogether.

The best way to prevent ghosting and flagging from happening to you is to follow some basic guidelines along with Craigslist terms of use. Let’s take a look at some guidelines to help make the most of your Craigslist marketing efforts.

Create a posting schedule that you follow regularly. Every market is different, so it is important to look at how many ads are posted daily in your area for the section you choose to advertise under. If there hundreds, or even thousands of ads posted under your section, then you can post more frequently than in a city where the number of postings are much less. Craigslist terms of use state that a user may post the same or substantially similar content no more than once every 48 hours.

  1. Be consistent. Always use the same email address, Craigslist account, verified telephone number, computer, web browser, and internet connection when posting ads. A user may maintain and use no more than one account, including a telephone or phone-verified account (“PVA”), to post content.
  2. Never have more than one ad running per category at a time. Also be sure that if you are running ads under multiple categories, make sure they are different.
  3. Never try posting ads in cities outside of your primary market area. Craigslist is a local service and they are clear on this one. Here is what is stated in their terms of use. Content that is equally relevant to multiple (i.e., more than one) geographic areas should not be posted on craigslist.
  4. Avoid using all capital letters and over punctuation in your posting titles. All capital letters is the offline equivalent to shouting. This can be perceived as desperate or annoying and be a red flag to the Craigslist community.

By following the above suggestions, you are likely to enjoy success in marketing on Craigslist. Violate the terms of use and abuse your posting privileges, and you may lose out on a huge opportunity to gain exposure to your offers. For further insight into Craigslist ghosting issues, visit the Craigslist forums. Here is a specific discussion about Craigslist ghosting.

Assuming you are reading this as a result of experiencing troubles with having your ads ghosted or flagged, we’ll discuss the steps to restore your Craigslist posting privileges. Please note, there are no guarantees of account restoration and no specific formula to follow. The following suggestions are based on past experiences that have resulted in favorable resolutions.

  1. Remove/delete all ads from your Craigslist account that are not showing publicly
  2. Clear your web browsers cache and cookies.
  3. Create a new Gmail email account
  4. Contact your internet service provider and request that they reissue a new ip address
  5. Create a new Craigslist account
  6. Try posting a simple text ad and wait up to 30 minutes to see if it posts
  7. If step 6 is successful, you should be good to go. Now follow the guidelines mentioned earlier in this article to prevent future issues.
  8. If step 6 is unsuccessful, repeat the process and wait at least 2 weeks before attempting to create your new Craigslist account and posting your first ad.

If you follow these steps you should be able to use Craigslist again. In extreme circumstances, you may need further consultation and may have to resort to other measures. You may also try sending an email to abuse@craigslist.org and explain what you have been doing. You may plead your case by expressing that you understand why you have been banned and plead your case. Then promise not to do it again.

If you have experienced issues with having your Craigslist account blocked or Craigslist ghosting, share your stories in the comments section below and we’ll see if we can help each other.

How to Make Multiple Entries in Craigslist

Craigslist is a heavily trafficked website providing free classified ads. It's a good place to post ads if you need to sell something, find a new employee or even browse personal ads. Unfortunately, if you are selling multiple items or hiring for multiple positions at a company, you'll quickly discover that Craigslist doesn't let you post multiple entries within the same 48-hour period. If you try to post several entries in rapid succession, you could be temporary blocked from posting. Fortunately, a method exists to create multiple entries in Craigslist without getting blocked.

Instructions

    • 1
Write each posting with unique text. Even when you bypass the 48-hour rule, your posts must still be unique. Craigslist doesn't tolerate spam, and Craigslist uses an automated program to find and flag similar postings. Make sure each advertisement is truly for a different item or job listing. If you try to post spam on Craigslist, you will get caught. Spam is not illegal, but you and your computer's IP address could be permanently banned from Craigslist if you are caught.
    • 2
Visit the Craigslist website and click the "Post to Classifieds" link at the top left-hand side of the main Craigslist page.
    • 3
Select a category for your entry, paste your ad into the template and enter your email address in the blank provided.
    • 4
Click "Add/Edit Images" to add any pictures to the listing. Only use your own original pictures, as other images could be copyrighted.
    • 5
Click "Continue." You may be prompted to re-enter a code that appears on-screen. The code is designed to prevent automated posting programs and spammers.
    • 6
Check your email. There will be an email from Craigslist. Click on the link in email, and a new window opens in your browser displaying a tentative copy of your listing.
    • 7
Review your listing, and click "Edit" if you notice any errors. If the Craigslist entry looks good, click "Post" to finalize the listing.
    • 8
Create a free email account. Many websites provide free email services with only minimal personal information and a brief sign-up process, including Yahoo!, Google and Hotmail.
    • 9
Repeat Steps 1 through 8 with your next posting, but use your alternate email address.

How to Keep Your Craigslist Listing at the Top of the Search Results

Craigslist displays search results in reverse chronological order, so if you're selling a popular item you can quickly fall further and further in the listings. If you want to keep your item up top, you need to frequently repost. Here's an easy way to minimize the tediousness of reposting your ad to move it to the top of the search listings.P
The video above, by Terry P. Carter, will walk you through the whole process, but here's the gist:P
  • Create a Craigslist account if you don't already have one and log in.P
  • Post your ad, wait until it falls in the listings, and then right-click the ad you want to repost (on your account page) and open it in a new tab.P
  • In the new tab, you'll have an option to edit your ad. Right-click the option to edit and open it in a new tab.P
  • Now right click your category and open that in a new tab. Create a new ad in that category, then navigate between the tabs you already have open and copy and paste the information from the existing ad into the new fields.P
  • Once you've copy-and-pasted all the information into the new ad, delete the old one from your account page and post the new one. Now your ad will be back up top.P

This may seem like it's just as tedious as redoing the ad from scratch, but I do this for pretty much every Craigslist listing I post and I can promise it does save quite a bit of time. As a Craigslist seller, it's a handy trick, but as any buyer knows, little is more annoying than having to weed through the same ad popping up at the top of your results every single day, so re-post responsibly, and please, don't spam.

How to Avoid Scams on Craigslist! Part 2

  1. Craigslist is known worldwide for their classifieds for just about anything - from toys to furniture. With a few simple clicks and an email address, anyone can post wanted and 'for sale' items. However, everyone needs to be aware and distinguish valid and scam posts in Craigslist.
  2. 1
Search and browse within your own city or state limits. This will give you and the seller the opportunity to meet in person.
  3. 2
Try all attempts to exchange in person instead of mailing money. Unlike E-Bay, Craigslist is not responsible of transaction mishaps. This means, if you send money to someone, you can't report it to Craigslist if you don't receive the item that you were paying for. Any reference to Craigslist that says "buyer protection" or "certified seller" is bogus.
  4. Avoid Scams on Craigslist Step 3.jpg
    3
Insist on cash. Fake checks and money orders are common, and banks will hold you - not the seller - responsible. Never wire money to anyone under any circumstances. Most payments made by wire transfer are fraudulent.
  5. Avoid Scams on Craigslist Step 4.jpg
    4
Prioritize posts with pictures over text-only posts. If you are interested in a non-image post or would like more details, contact the poster but do not make any offers until you are fully satisfied. If they don't get back to you, look for something else.

    5
Have some knowledge of what the item's average price is. This is more common for renting an apartment or buying a car over Craigslist. If you're not sure, browse through newspaper classifieds, other Craigslist posts, use the Kelley Blue Book for vehicles, or ask friends for a reasonable price range for that specific item.
  7. Tips:
  • Don't send money through Western Union. Many scams from out of the country will ask for your money that way.
  • Many fraudulent ads on Craigslist are simply copied & pasted from elsewhere (eBay). By copying part of the ad and searching through Google you can quickly check to see if the post is one of them.
  • Don't take the first interesting item as priority; jot it down and browse around.
  • If you have buyers contact you through a service like ListHD, their email will contain the buyer's IP address. This allows you to look up their location to be sure they are nearby.
  • Information such as credit card numbers, bank account numbers, social security numbers and other similar numbers should not be given out unless you are positive who will be receiving the information and that it is being transmitted over a secure server. This is important because this information can be used for identity theft or other fraudulent purposes.
  • If you don't find anything in your taste, wait until the next day or use another source.
  • If it's too good to be true, then it probably is.

Warning:

  • When renting an apartment or house, be aware that it is illegal for a landlord to enforce anything above the first month's rent for the security deposit. So if an apartment is going for $1,500 and the first month's rent is higher than that - it's a scam.
  • Sometimes situations will occur where the security deposit required is 1.5 or 2 times the monthly rental. The most common reason this occurs is because of tenants with poor credit reports or spotty rental history. Another reason may be pet damage deposit. A third may be the fist month's rent is "discounted" to entice early occupancy of a new or rehabbed unit.
